Complex contracts, practical advice

Legal strategy to protect investments and enable growth

Each agreement should reflect the financial model, schedule, technical risks and actual operating dynamics. Legal work begins before signature and continues throughout performance, construction and operation.

I work with multidisciplinary and highly technical teams alongside engineering, finance, project finance, insurance, regulatory, development and operations professionals — including projects involving innovative technologies.

Experience that provides confidence

Advising multinational companies, banks and major projects since 2008

My career began in infrastructure business development at the Camargo Corrêa Group and continued at law firms and companies with Brazilian and international operations, covering energy agreements, major construction projects, financing, corporate transactions and regulated industries.

I have worked on energy auctions involving small hydro plants, wind farms and large hydropower projects, including reviews of the Jirau and Belo Monte tender documents, as well as the contractual and corporate structuring of investor, developer and contractor groups.

This experience enables me to help companies across different industries grow through contractual structures that are safer, negotiable, bankable and consistent with their commercial objectives.

Auctions, investment and development

Integrating investors, developers, contractors and lenders

Energy projects require a coherent chain of agreements. Tender documents, the corporate structure, financing, real estate agreements, construction, supply, energy sales and operations must work together.

Experience across small hydro, hydropower, wind, solar, transmission, biomass, self-generation and distributed generation projects helps identify critical interfaces and prevents risks under one agreement from being automatically or indefinitely passed to another party.

Legal advice grounded in technical reality

Hands-on, multidisciplinary advice

Technical experience translated into clear contractual decisions

Legal advice is more effective when it understands the operation. My work therefore involves direct engagement with managers, engineers, economists and professionals in procurement, finance, insurance, sales, regulation and project development.

Rather than generic contracts, the goal is to create documents and strategies suited to each client’s technology, budget, schedule, risks and management capabilities.

“A contract should protect the business without preventing it from moving forward.”

Partnership, expertise and results

Working with multidisciplinary and highly technical teams

Collaboration with specialists and international teams to negotiate innovative technology agreements, anticipate scenarios and turn complexity into actionable decisions.
